Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to get out in your community and do something meaningful. Every three volunteer shifts you complete will earn a transferrable cattery visit voucher. We have timecards to track your hours that you can then use on your resume, as well as a reference letter for those who go above and beyond!

We have three ways you can volunteer.

 

One area is the cattery, where tasks include:

• Scooping litter

• Feeding/Watering the kitties

• Wiping down surfaces

• Sweeping floors

• Mopping floors

• Dusting

• Wiping baseboards 

• Cleaning (disinfecting) litter boxes

• Socializing shy kitties

• Trimming nails (if you are experienced)

• ...and more!​

 

Our second area is volunteering at our events, where tasks include:

 

• Setting up for events

• Checking in guests

• Assisting guests

• Taking down after events

 

 

Our third area is volunteering by sharing our events, and services on social media.

We currently do not have Cattery volunteers coming in on a set

schedule. However, that is one of our goals, as it would be extremely helpful for us to have a set schedule, while still welcoming drop in volunteers as well. The kitties need us all day, so we accept volunteers all day.
